The LPs is a weekly music class for young people in Truro, Nova Scotia led by James Hill. We make music, have fun, and play concerts in the community. Everyone is welcome!

Multi-instrument, Multi-age, Multi-level Ensemble
“LP” stands for “Lifelong Players.” That’s our goal: to make music part of our lives forever. We make our own music and connect with each another through art. Life is long, songs are short… let’s play!
Multi-instrument
Ukuleles, guitars, pianos, recorders and more. Students may select a primary and a secondary instrument. Percussionists are required to have a secondary instrument.
Multi-age
The minimum age for students in The LPs is 6 years old but there is no maximum age! Parents are encouraged to attend rehearsals and to play long with the band.
Multi-level
The LPs welcomes beginners and experienced players alike. Our lessons and arrangements aim to engage students at the level of challenge appropriate for them.
The LPs meet on Wednesdays at 4pm at Long & McQuade Truro (188 Robie Street).
